You’ve already spent a lot of time in getting all your ducks lined up so that your first website will be a real winner. Did you forget something? Maybe yes – and here are some items that are critical to making sure that your new website is a success. Critical, as in “how do I collect the money for the things I sell?” I’d call that critical, wouldn’t you?

Obviously, your heart and soul will go into your first website – that’s just the nature of these things! However, and particularly if you are going “commercial” on the first try, there are some things you will need in order to be able to survive “out there.”

If you are trying to make money, you need to have a way to get it from your prospect to your own account, right?

Obviously, there are some differences here, depending upon what it is you’re delivering! For example, you can deliver an e-book or some software with a simple download, but a 200-pound gismo for your client’s car is a little difficult to deliver online.

If you look over the websites today, you will see that many of them (including this one) use audio and video to make the site more interesting and enticing. After all, your prospects won’t stay on your site long enough to see what you’re selling if it’s boring!
